SCOTTY LAGO!!!

It is with great pride as a snowboarder, as a resident of NH, and as an American that I get to announce that Seabrook's own, Scotty Lago, is coming back to the Shire with a Bronze medal hanging from his neck! I am so stoked for Scotty, he did it! Scotty is a snowboarder's snowboarder, as Pat Bridges from Snowboarder put it "he chalked one up for the good guys''. Yeah carrot top got the Gold and we're pumped for him as Americans but Scotty is that kid from down the street. He just snowboards and has fun, he doesn't need coaches, or trainers, or private halfpipes. Scotty is really just a snowboarder and he deserves this more than anyone!

Full story from Transworld Snowboarding HERE.
Full story from Snowboarder Magazine HERE.
Congratulate Scotty on Scotty Lago has a Posse HERE.
Full story from NBC Olympics HERE. You can also watch all of Scotty's runs here too!

Now the Ladies are up today. Our women's team is just as stacked as our mens team with team members Kelly Clark, Gretchen Bleiler, Hanna Teter, and Elena Hight. A podium sweep just could happen here! Full story HERE. And while Gretchen is an elite snowboarder she also has enough sense to know a good surfboard when she sees one. That's right, Gretchen rides a Lost Rocket. The best female snowboarder also surfs the best surfboards. Check it HERE.

Tiny little waves on tap for today and for the weekend. I saw some beautiful knee high peelers at the wall this morning. There are some magical looking sandbars down there right now. I didn't surf but now that I am at the shop looking at the cams I wish I did.

Again congrats to Scotty, you've made everyone associated with Pioneers so proud!!!!!

couldn't agree more.....Wanted Scotty to win the Gold so bad. The gold going to the burton/redbull lovechild just doesn't taste as good as a Shire Gold would have.
