Ahh the Great Atlantic... Today she is calm and next week she will be vicious. Our little chunk of ocean is certainly an interesting one. I am going to try and post a new trick tip every weekend from now on. Sometimes it will be skate, sometimes snow, but today's is surf related. The trick tip of the week is brought to us by World # 1, Mick Fanning. Here Mick is talking about how to generate speed on your shortboard or fish. Timing and rhythm are everything here and practice does help. Skateboarding on some transition or pumping on a longboard skateboard are great ways to improve you speed generating ability. Once you have this skill it gives you the abilily to beat section and generate the speed you need to hit the lip. Watch and learn and be on the look out for more trick tips!
