What's up fools!? Bryan scraped his fingertips on the ocean floor whilst catching a rad wave earlier today, and rendered unable to type, he relinquished his blog duties to myself, Jon Millstein: vacuum technician and skateboard fanatic. Here's what's been happening in the better boardsport recently.
GORO GETS RAD OVER GAPS
Alex Gorodourous may no longer be representing Foundation's am team, but he's still slaying spots that most of us would rather longboard past than step up to. Check Thrasher's weekly photo sequence feature for his frontside 180 degree blast over a sidewalk and onto some crusty asphalt.

LAKAI AND DVS FLOW FAUX VULC INTO THE SHOP
If you can't decide between the stiffness and additional protection of cupsole shoes and the boardfeeling, penny-saving advantages that vulcanized kicks offer, check out our new shoes from Lakai and DVS. Lakai's Lakaitning technology blends cupsole and vulc to create a sole that's flexy but solid - check it out in the new Beibel 2 LK, which we just received in a black/white/blue colorway.
DVS sent us the Getz 4, which features a similar style of hybrid sole. I couldn't find a picture of it, but if you really flex your brain muscles, you can probably imagine the shoe below in grey instead of black, and with blue lining.

LONGBOARDS FOR THE LONG HAUL, ARBOR TREES AND BERTLEMANS WITH STEEZ
After you've mastered riding a skateboard, and exhausted every trick from laser heels to laybacks, you might feel ready to move on from the daily grind (literally) to something that's a little faster, and a little easier on the ankles. Longboards are cool!!!!! And we just got a bunch of them from Arbor, with some truly unique shapes that will add some bruise to your cruise.

Longboard waves all week brah, but although the ocean's flat the concrete wave is going to be ripping. Try skateboarding if you haven't already!!!!!
